We use Salt Shift, an Australian-made rust protection product with local product support.

Underbody Rust Protection – $500

Our standalone underbody rust protection application is $500.

Under normal vehicle use, the expected protection period is approximately 12 months.

For vehicles regularly exposed to heavy beach driving, saltwater and harsh coastal conditions, we recommend reapplication approximately every 6 months, as this type of use can reduce the effective protection period.

Combine Rust Protection With Detailing

Your rust protection service can also be combined with either a minor detail or full vehicle detail.

The idea is simple: bring your 4WD to us and we can thoroughly detail the vehicle before completing the underbody rust protection application.

Detailing is charged at our standard rate of:

$94 per hour

This allows the service to be tailored to the condition of your vehicle rather than forcing you into a fixed detailing package.

Existing Underbody Rust Removal

If your vehicle already has surface rust or corrosion present underneath, we also have a laser cleaning system available for underbody rust removal.

Laser rust removal is an optional service completed before the rust protection is applied and is charged at:

$94 per hour

The amount of time required will depend on the extent and location of the existing rust.

Detailing and laser rust removal are both charged at $94 per hour, allowing us to tailor the work to your vehicle and how it is used.

For 4WDs regularly used on beaches or in coastal environments, regular cleaning, inspection and reapplication of underbody protection can be incorporated into your ongoing vehicle maintenance.
